At first it was a little confusing but when I got the hang of it I was able to track everything I eat the calories and even the calories I burned with exercise... this app is great... o already lost 10 pounds just by eating right and still going down... I recommend it

Ive been using FS for years. Excellent partner in weight loss. The app is simple and straight forward and the companion website keeps a wealth of statistics.
A couple of nice updates have been added to this app. It takes a little to get used to but is great overall. 3.5 stars. 4 because its free.
Way better than any paid app Ive found. Far easier to put in a bunch of food at once to make a meal. When adding food, to scan barcodes, theres a camera icon at the bottom center. I didnt notice it initially. Fantastic app!
Use it everyday to track my food intake, fiber and balance of protein, fat and carbs. I also use a food scale which helps for meals I prepare.

first off this app has a lot of really good features that my fitness pal did not have such as a net carb setting and ability to share your entire food journal with someone. there are a few features that the app needs though to really compete with it though. 1. the ability to scan ingredients in the recipe builder 2. it would be great if the app had more of the features seen on the desktop version. sometimes the app feels clunky and not as intuitive. 3. a better way to share recipes with buddies, especially on mobile app. it would be nice to be able to make a meal, put the recipe in the app and be able to share that with my husband so that he doesnt have to put the same exact recipe in the database too. but on the whole the mobile app is far less bloated and annoying than myfitnesspal. heres to hoping for some improvement to make it truly great!
My wife used myfitnesspal for years, so when I realized I needed to start loosing weight i tried it but also shopped around the App Store. This is SUPERIOR because of the way it tracks my weight, the way I can adds activity calories burned and it not change my daily calorie goal, it lets me cook my own recipes and add them in a way I can actually count and track it, and BEST OF ALL I can edit how much of a serving I actually eat. You cant edit the amount in myfitnesspal. If the serving size is 104g but I only want 50g, I can track that on this app, I cant on the others! As a last note I want to say this app is beautiful and smooth to use, and as a plus its green theme is my favorite color. The only change I would request is that more functionality be made available when offline. I work where signal is often a nightmare and that makes using this app next to impossible when Im there.

This app blows my fitness pal. out of the water. I like how you can actually see the total macro count up at the top of each meal and dont have to go back and forth with the calculator. Deleted my fitness pal as soon as I started using this!
Overall a great app except some UX pitfalls. For example, entering weight directly is not possible and if you trying to use grams, it shows 100 by default so if you need to enter 1000, for instance, youd spin the wheel forever... this is a bit retarded. Also, I am bilingual and often search for food in Russian and English and therefore have to switch regions between US and RU. However, I dont understand why the app cannot be smart enough to understand in what language I am searching (or combine all databases or whatever).
This app is the best tool for those on a LCHF diet. It shows how many carbs net youve eaten, how much of fibers, sodium, potassium, etc. Shows how much weight youve lost, how many calories you ingested. Its really helpful!
I love this app. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is I can not figure out how to change my calories a day or my start weight from a previous set up. I have sent emails with no response. Help
